Let angle PQR = x

Hence

angle PRQ = x { given }

now, angle PQS + angle PQR = 180° ( linear pair)

angle PQS = 180° - angle PQR

angle PQS = 180° - x ...... (1)

  1. Also we can say,
  2. angle PRT + angle PRQ = 180° ( linear pair)
  3. angle PRT = 180° - PRQ
  4. angle PRT = 180° - x ....... (2)
  5. From (1) and (2) we can say that
  6. angle PQS = angle PRT
  7. Hence proved.
