Hey guys! well in this question I don't want any solution but I want it to be clarified.
It's about the formula of focal length in lenses.

I our ncert and other books it's given that
1/f =1/v - 1/u
But in Wikipedia, it's given that
1/f=1/u+1/v. ???

Our ncert book have different method than wiki, hence the both formulas are right . This is result of different method of presenting something that students can understand clearly.If you solve with your means ncert formulas you can get understand.But in another it will take time to understand.
