Answer:

⏩Parthenogenesis is a type of asexual reproduction in which a female gamete or egg cell develops into an individual without fertilization. Animals including most kinds of wasps, bees, and ants that have no sex chromosomes reproduce by this process. Some reptiles and fish are also capable of reproducing in this manner.⏪

Parthenogenesis is a form of asexual reproduction in which females produce eggs that develop without fertilization. Parthenogenesis occurs naturally in aphids, daphnia, rotifers, some invertebrates and in many plants.

In many social insects, such as the

honeybee and the ant,the unfertilized

eggs give rise to the male drones and

the fertilized eggs to the female

workers and a queen. This has also

been observed in some snakes, fish

and monitor Lizard.
