ANSWER

1.Ionisation is the process that involves the formation of ions whereas dissociation is the process of breaking up of a moiety into its constituent atoms, molecules and ions.

2. Ionisation involves the creation of charges across the participating species whereas dissociation occurs due to a weak bond between species.

IONISATION

Ionization or ionisation, is the process by which an atom or a molecule acquires a negative or positive charge by gaining or losing electrons to form ions, often in conjunction with other chemical changes.

DISSOCIATION

Dissociation is a mental process that causes a lack of connection in a person's thoughts, memory and sense of identity. Dissociation seems to fall on a continuum of severity.
