hii viewer here's ur answer

Ultra = higher, Sound = sound waves

It uses high frequency sound waves higher than what our ears can perceive to interrogate the structure of something. The reason this works is because when a sound waves comes across a boundary with two different densities, sound is reflected back differently: Boundary Behavior

The reflected sound waves are received and then gets calculated across all the planes the sound waves travels to get the picture of whatever you are scanning. Its greater than human hearing sound is 20000 hz

if you like my answer plzz mark as brainliest one

rhe ultrasonic sound have very high frequency [and very short wavelength]
due to which they can penerate into matter to. a large extent
it cannot be hear by human
because it has very high frequency
it has frequency greater than 20,000 hertz
