Difference between Indian elections and Mexican elections:- The main difference between elections in India and Mexico is that in Mexico, elections are held to directly elect the president. On the other hand, in India, elections are held to elect only Members of Parliament and  State Legislatures. It means that India has Parliamentary Democracy, not Presidential Democracy. In India, The President is elected indirectly by the Members of both houses of Parliament i.e. Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha and Members of State Legislatures. Presidential elections in Mexico are held every six years whereas in India, Parliamentary election are held every five years.  In Mexico, the candidate who wins the most votes elected the President, even if he or she does not have an absolute majority whereas in India, if a single party has absolute majority, it can form government and coalition (with two or more political parties) government can also be formed if any single party does not have majority. In Mexico, no President can serve more than a single term in office whereas in India, there is no such rule for Prime Minister. A Prime Minister can rule for as many years as he can if his party wins the election and he has support of his party MPs. Same rule is also applied in the case of State Legislatures where Chief Ministers are elected.

Hope it helps u.........♥️♥️♥️♥️✨✨✨
