Shah Jahan is the 5th Mughal emperor, ans sun of Jahangir. During childhood, he was known as Prince Khurram and received a refined and cultivated education. He studied a large number of disciplines including martial arts and architecture. He has erected many splendid monuments including the famous Taj Mahal in Agra. However, his last years was not great as by the time his son Aurangazeb had already taken all his power.
