Books v/s electronic media
Books v/s electronic media has been debatable topic these days. But my opinion is that books are better than electronic media as it has more cons than pros.
Books enhance the thinking power of the reader. It gives scope to creativity. It compels reader to think and imagine the situation given in the book. On the other hand, electronic media like television and mobile phones make us lazy. Every visualization is displayed rather than triggering to imagination. It kills imagination. It affects eyes and young children get used to long hours of television. There's a reason why it is called idiot box.
Like each coin has two sides. Books also has some cons. Errors in books cannot be detected or changed until new edition. Sometimes books can be tedious. Electronic media is on its toes to serve information. A non reader prefers electronic media as pass time.
Both are needed in this modern world.
