Hello Van ishka,

Direct Proportion- Here, the change in first quantity is directly proportional to change in 2nd quantity.

X1/Y1 = X2/Y2

I.e. If you buy more apples you've to pay more money.

Inverse Proportion- here, a relation between two quantities such that one increases in proportion as the other decreases.

I.e. More workers will take less no. Of days to build a wall.

Or, in physics , Gravitational force is inversely proportional to distance^2.
