queenvictoria4866: in 6 the answer is -7
pokhriyalsam786: wait lemme see
pokhriyalsam786: wait , where is k in the equation
queenvictoria4866: it's ok fine don't do this thanks for your help
pokhriyalsam786: kay, your variables are wrong tho , but anyway ^_^^_^

4.) sum of roots is (alpha + beta ) = -b/a = -1

product of roots would be (alpha . beta) = c/a = 1

so 1/alpha + 1/ beta = (alpha + beta)/ alpha. beta

= -1/1 = -1

and alpha² + beta² = (alpha + beta)² - 2. alpha.beta

= (-1)² - 2.1

= -1

5. p(x) = x² -px +p

so product of roota = c/a =p ---1

and sum of roots = -b/a =p

and also , it's given

alpha.beta +alpha +beta +1 =0

= p+p +1 =0

= p= -1/2. , hence

c/1 = -1/2

c= -1/2

7.) sum of zeroes = -b/a = 15/25 = 3/5

  • and Product would be = c/a = 2/25

for new equation

  • sum of roots =
  • 1 \div 2 \alpha \: + 1 \div 2 \beta
  • 2alpha + 2beta/ 4. alpha.beta = 2(15/25)/4(2/25)
  • = 30/8

and product of roots =

1 \div 2 \alpha \times 1 + 2 \beta \: = 1 \times 4 \alpha . \beta

product of roots = 1/4(2/25)

=25/8

so formula for quadratic equation = x² - sum of roots.x + product of roots

= x² -30/8.p +25/8 = 0

= 8x² -30p +25 =0

left 6th and 8th. u can do it urself

queenvictoria4866: thnk u
pokhriyalsam786: , i would do 8th one. but it was confusing
