a. concave mirror is used to get a powerful beam of parallel rays or light .

b. convex mirror is used because it enables the driver to see the traffic behind as they give an erect though diminished image and they also provide a wider field of view due to their curved outward surface . hence larger area can be seen.

c. concave mirror as it concentrates sunlight to produce heat in solar furnace.
