as y-2 = 0, y= 2 is one of the side
so two common y coordinate becomes 2
now put y= 2 in 2x - 3y +6 =0
2x - 6 +6 = 0
x= 0
Put y= 2 in 2x +3y -18= 0
2x +6 -18= 0
2x -12 = 0
x= 6
So (0,2) ( 6,2)
Now intersection of 2x - 3y +6 = 0
2x +3y -18= 0
subtract
-6y + 24 = 0
y = 4
2x -12 +6 = 0
2x -6 = 0
x= 3
so (3,4)
So
(0,2) ( 6,2) ( 3,4)
Area = 1/2 ( 6 ( 4 -2) + 3 ( 2 -2))
= 1/2 × 12 = 6
so two common y coordinate becomes 2
now put y= 2 in 2x - 3y +6 =0
2x - 6 +6 = 0
x= 0
Put y= 2 in 2x +3y -18= 0
2x +6 -18= 0
2x -12 = 0
x= 6
So (0,2) ( 6,2)
Now intersection of 2x - 3y +6 = 0
2x +3y -18= 0
subtract
-6y + 24 = 0
y = 4
2x -12 +6 = 0
2x -6 = 0
x= 3
so (3,4)
So
(0,2) ( 6,2) ( 3,4)
Area = 1/2 ( 6 ( 4 -2) + 3 ( 2 -2))
= 1/2 × 12 = 6
