please answer me only if you are sure about it..
if one has chosen 6 subjects in class 10 CBSE board.. ( english,science, social, maths,hindi,and an optional subject) then which 5 subjects will be considered for calculating the percentage.

Well, the main subjects (including Math, science, English, Hindi,S.st.) will be taken in order to calculate percentage for the final result.

All the subjects should be taken equally but if you are getting lowest marks in any subject then the no. of another subject which is optional is added to your result...
