Perimeter

Since the circumference of circe is 2πr

But since it is semi circle it will be πr

Therefore

Perimeter = πr+ d (d= diameter)

= 22/7*7 + 14

= 36 cm

Area

Since area of circle = πr^2

And semicircle = πr^2 / 2

Area = 22 * 7* 7 / 7* 2

= 77 sq cm

Solutions :-

Given :

Radius = 7 cm
Diameter = 14 cm

Find the perimeter of semicircle :-

We know the formula for finding the perimeter of semicircle = 1/2 π × d + d

 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 14 + 14 \\  \\  = 22 + 14 = 36

Now,

Find the area of semicircle :-

We know the formula to find the area of semicircle = π × r^2/2

 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{ {7}^{2} }{2}  \\  \\  = 11 \times 7 = 77

Hence,
Perimeter of semicircle = 36 cm
Area of semicircle = 77 cm²
