Hey mate.....☺✌☺

We only see one side of moon because moon is spherical in shape when its front is facing us then its back will be behind it and the when its other side faces us then its first side goes backward.

And one more thing to add that the moon revolve around the earth .

siya9536: The second reason you mentioned is in my book but in details
siya9536: detail
lastbenchstudent: hey this is because the moon rotates the earth with same rate as earth rotates around its axis. this situation known as tidal locking also called as synchronous rotation. let me expalin it for a example. suppose you are standing in center of a circle. now your friend is rotation on that circle lines. now if start rotating at your position as same speed as your friend is rotating you will see your friend face
TheMentalGuy: Yo !! (:
lastbenchstudent: you are the earth and your friend is moon.

《ANSWER》

□ Firstly, It's Very Simple And Easy Question.

We All Know That Moon Is Kind Of Circle Shaped. It Is A Solid Too.

When We See The Moon From Earth We See Straight. It Means As We See Every Matter Of The Universe. Light Goes Straight If There Are No Obstacles.

so Which Light Reflects From Moon It Comes On Our Eyes Straight. As It Is Solid We Can See Only One Side Of The Moon.

In Another Way ,The simple answer (and one that you’ve probably heard before) is that we only see one side of the moon because the moon rotates around the Earth at the exact same speed as it rotates around its own axis, so that the same side of the moon is constantly facing the surface of the earth.  This means that one full ‘day’ of the moon (meaning the length of time it takes for the moon to rotate around itself once) is about 4 weeks long.  If the moon didn’t rotate at all, we would see all of its sides; the only way for us to see such a constant face of the moon is if it’s also rotating. There’s a great visualization of this below.

Hope You Understand.
