Hey hey hey!

Can someone give me an easy definition for tributaries.... Please don't copy from the internet.... Cuz I want an easy definition in your own words... You can definitely refer to the internet but please don't copy paste... Even I could do that.

See, when a river joins a more big river, the small river is called tributary.

For eg: Yamuna joins Ganga. Yamuna is tribuatry of Ganga.

So, we can say a river which joins a bigger river or stream is called it's tributary.
