The basic constraint in raising production from a farm are lack of working capital , i.e , money which causes the farmer to purchase low grade seeds instead of high yielding variety seeds and his inability to buy products to enrich the soil with nutrients like fertilisers .

The lack of proper technology, modern farming technologies, machinery is another major factor.

Other constraints include in raising farm production are land- mainly flxed land and irrigation. Finally, the constraint in raising farm production is poverty.
