Step-by-step explanation:

take arbitrary point of x put them in gievn line and find the value of y e.g

take x=0 then

y=2(0)+1 = 1

so for x=0 y=1

so first point is (0,1)

now when x= 1

y=2(1)+1

y= 2+1=3

so when x=1 y=3

so the second point is (1,3)

last step :

mark these two points on graph and join these two points with a line, And that is your line

( insted of x=0 or X= 1 ,you can choose any value)

graph of 2x +1

when the exponents of the variable are all 1that is there are no square,cubes etc..the equation is a line .then it is enough to find two points to draw it
