Mass of rectangular slab  = 10 kg

Acceleration due to gravity = 10 m/s^2

Weight of the slab = 10 × 10 = 100 N

The pressure is defined as the force applied on per unit area. Hence, the pressure will be maximum when the area is minimum.

Minimum area of the slab = 0.15 × 0.1 = 0.015 m^2

Now,

Pressure = \frac{Force}{Area}

Pressure = \frac{100}{0.015}

Pressure = 6666.67 Pascals

Hence, the maximum pressure applied by the rectangular slab is 6666.67 Pascals.
