My “go-to” suggests that we would divide “x” out of (x+1)(x+2)(x+3)(x+4), and then divide “x” from the 120.
This would make: 1*2*3*4 = 120/x
… 24 = 120/x
… 24x = 120
… x = 5
I realize I have “calculated” the wrong answer. Would anyone be so kind and explain the best way to “re-think” this?
Thanks again. Love this blog.
