Well a simple love story.
SriRam was with Guru Maharshi Visvamitra protecting his yagna. Maharshi was pleased with the protection offered by SriRam. On learning that Rajarshi and King Janaka of Mithila announced a swayamvar for selecting a bridegroom for her daughter Sita, he took SriRam to Mithila.
While SriRam was walking the streets of Mithila, Seeta on her way to a temple of Devi Parvati , saw him and liked him. SriRam also saw her by chance and like her.
In the court of the king, SriRam broke the bow of Lord Shiva. Then Seeta garlanded SriRam and later they were married together. They loved each other and SriRam took an oath not to marry another woman in his life. This was special as in those days kings used to marry many queens.
Seeta was dedicated totally to SriRam. She followed SriRam to thick and dangerous forests outside Ayodhya kingdom. For Seeta SriRam could go to any extent. He even chased a fake deer in golden color. They lived happily for 13 years when a daemon Ravan kidnapped Seeta and took her to Lanka island.
SriRam fought a war with Ravan with the help of monkeys and with the blessings of Gods. Finally Ravan was killed and Seeta was rescued. They went back to Ayodhya together. They lived happily together.
