A very good morning to one and all present here.I am Sona and i am here to tell you a speech about Independence day.

Independence day is a vey good day in which all of us celebrate the freedom of ours.We are able to celebrate only because of the freedom fighters.We should thank them because they bought us freedom.We should never forget them.

Some people will forget them to remember them only we are celebrating independence day.So we host the indian flag to respect them.and also have some sweets to celebrate it

Independence Day of India is annually celebrated on 15 August, as a national holiday in India commemorating the nation's independence from the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947. Remembering the struggle by our brave freedom fighters, develops a feeling of intense patriotism in each Indian. It is an auspicious day for everyone of us.The British rulers were very cruel and applied extremely harsh policies on the poor Indian citizens. But freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, etc laid down their lives just so that we, the future generations live peacefully. They are our heroes and will always be alive in our hearts forever.Me, as an Indian am very proud to live in such a country having such wide history and the great stories of the immortal heroes who helped India in getting independence.
