Hey User !

=) Distance between any two parallel tangents in a circle is equal to measure of a Diameter . 



Distance between any parallel tangents = 2*r=2*4.5=9 cm 

This can be seen as since tangents are parallel and both touches the circle at one point .

Hence, we can say a length of Diameter will fulfill the perpendicular gap between them .

So, Distance between two parallel tangents will be twice of length of radius or Diameter only.

Answer :- 9 cm .
