Answer:

Anodising is the process of making thick oxide layer of aluminium to prevent corrosion. It is a best method for preventing corrosion.

Aluminium develops a thin oxide layer when exposed to air . This coating makes it resistant to further corrosion.By making a clean aluminium article as anode,and is electrolyzed with dilute sulphuric acid. The oxygen liberated at the anode reacts with aluminium to make a thicker protective oxide layer. This oxide layer prevents further corrosion.
