Hey mate here is my question.....If an object is thrown vertically upward from a building with x velocity...and on the same time another object(same mass) is dropped downward with the same velocity. Which object will touch the ground first ??

here is your answer,

First of all accurately the second object will touch the ground first

BUT,

It depends on the height of the first object like how much far up in the air it goes up

Velocity x also matters like if its more greater then it will increase the first object acceleration greater then the "G"
so obviously, the first object will follow projectile motion and can Cross the 2nd object .
