Memory is the faculty of the mind by which information is encoded, stored, and retrieved. Memory is vital to experiences and related to limbic systems, it is the retention of information over time for the purpose of influencing future action.

____________________

The rememberance of things in our mind is unlimited. Our memory can store n number of things in our brain. It consists of episodes or events recollected from an individual's life.
Therefore nature of memory is unlimited/everlasting/immense

Our memory is stored in specific brain cells. Whatever has been happened in our day, the nerve cells transmit it to the neurons present in brain and this is how it is stored.
