AnsWer :

Radius of Circle 1 = 6 cm and Radius of Circle 2 = 9 cm.

Solution :

We have,

  • Sum of area of circle is 117π.

Area of Two Circle = πr²1 + πr²2 = 117π.

A/Q,

 \tt \longmapsto \pi {r}^{2} + \pi {r}^{2} = 117 \pi

 \tt\longmapsto {r_1}^{2} + {r_2}^{2} = 117. \: \: \: \: \: - (1)

And,

  • Distance between both circle of centre be 15 cm.

 \tt\longmapsto r_1 + r_2 = 15.

 \tt \longmapsto r_1 = 15 - r_2. \: \: \: \: \: - (2)

Putting the equation (2) in equation (1) we get,

  • R2= 6 or, 9.

Again, R2 value substitute in equation (1) we get,

  • R1 = 9 cm.
  • R2 = 6 cm.
