Equality is not always about treating everyone the same – it is about treating people in such a way that the outcome for each person can be the same. .....yes protective discrimination promotes equality.... bcoz there is much discrimination in our country..........

equality treating all people irrespective of their colour caste religion etc. is known as equality. everyone is equal in the eye of law. discrimination causes inequality among the people if we remove discrimination between the people equality could be promoted among people. so yes protecting discrimination promote equality.
