Liver is the largest gland in the human body. It is the part of the throat that is situated immediately behind the mouth and the nasal cavity. It is a passageway from the mouth to the oesophagus. It is situated on the right side of the upper part of the abdomen. Pharynx, (Greek: “throat”) cone-shaped passageway leading from the oral and nasal cavities in the head to the oesophagus and larynx. The pharynx chamber serves both respiratory and digestive functions.
