Q. Find an anti derivative of the function (ax+b)^ 2 by the method of inspection.

hello

We know that ddx(ax+b)3=3a(ax+b)2

 

⇒(ax+b)2=13addx(ax+b)3.

 

=ddx[13a(ax+b)3].

 

Hence 13a(ax+b)3 is an anti derivative of (ax+b)2.
