hi mate here is ur answer

look hydrogen exhibits properties of both metals as well as the non metals

it can loose one electron in order to become a electron donor as well as to gain the metallic properties and it can also gain one electron in order to gain the non metallic properties as well as to become electron acceptor so it is placed in the first block in the periodic table

hope it helps!!

pls mark as brainliest

because the hydrogen atom shows both the properties if metals and loses electrons and because it is a gas it should be place d in 7th period so H do not have exact place in periodic table

siliverisrinivas: i hope u understand
Amelia86: thanks
