So yes, 20th century was pretty much the important time in human history. The most important century in history is the twenty-first century. It is the only one we can change.

The year 2000 is part of the 20th century. There was no year 0.So the 20th century officially runs from 1901-2000 and the 21st century (The current century) runs from 2001-2100.
