STORY HERE

I was very tired last night after driving 100 or so miles from seeing a friend. I got ready for bed and got under the covers. It was taking longer for me to fall asleep than usual, which was weird for how exhausted I was.

I was drifting off into sleep when something strange happened. I started thinking about higher realms, heaven, and the universe. I think about these things occasionally but I became very focused on them at this point in time. I imagined the afterlife and what it would be like when I started hearing voices. I live with a roommate (who was gone at the time of this happening) but these voices seemed so real. They were yelling wretched and scary things about me which was very frightening. I then pictured the highest realm of existence rip in half and everything being gone.

I have never felt fear in my 26 years of life that could compare to what I felt last night. I take psychedelic drugs occasionally (LSD, mushrooms, DMT) but the last time I used was a week ago. I have experienced ego death multiple times before, astral projection, meditative states, etc. before but never anything like this. Was it sleep paralysis? Has something like this happened to anyone else before?
