☆☞ Caecum is the part of large intestine which is blind sac like containing finger like projection called appendix.

☆☞ Technically Caecum looks like a sac which has width more than length and the opening of it is at ileoceacal which is a sphincter and remains closed and invisible hence it is called blind sac.

☆☞ Also as ⏬⏬☜☆

☆☞ The caecum is called a blind sac because one end of it is close and the other continues into the colon. It is called so because it is, in literal sense like a sack.
