Hey!

The blue color of the sky is all due to the scattering process of Light.

Whenever the light reaches to the Earth's atmosphere then due to the particles and gases present in air the Light gets scattered into its constituent colors (VIBGYOR) and the blue color of light is scattered utmost at every place and this scattering of blue color takes place because of its shorter wavelengths at which it travels.

So, at the Day time the Sky appears us to be blue in color.

Now,

As there is no source of natural light (sun) present at the night time so, this scattering process doesn't takes place due to which the natural color of sky (black) is visible to us at the night time.
