hey mates plz answer this....shazli took a wire of length 44cm and bent it into the shape of circle . Find the radius of that circle .Also find its area . If the same wire is bent into the shape of a square,what will be the length of wach of its sides?which figure encloses more area,the circle or the square?(take π=22/7).....

the length of wire is = 44cm
circumference of circle =2πr
length =44
2*22/7*r=44
r =44*7/44
r = 7
area of circle = πr^2
22/7*7*7
area of circle is = 154cm^2
length is already given = 44
area of square is = side *side
area of square is = (44)^2
area of square is = 1936
the square area more than the circle of area I hope u got ur answer

Answer:

Radius= 7 cm

Area of the circle= = 154 cm²

Length of each of its sides= 11 cm

Area of the square = 121 cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

In the form of a circle:

Circumference= 2πr = 44 cm

=>r=44/2π = 44/(2× 22/7)= 44/(44/7)= 44× 7/44 = 7

=> Radius= 7 cm

Area= πr²= (22/7) × 7² =22 × 7= 154 cm²

In the form of a square:

Perimeter= 4× side =44 cm

Length of each of its sides = 44/4= 11 cm

Area= side²= 11²= 121 cm²

Since 121<154, the circle encloses more area...
