The sun is the only star that can be seen during day time

Stars aren't very bright. We can see them on the black night sky because the night sky is so dark and and the stars have a enough contrast to to their background.

Sun on the other hand is so close to us that that it appears with such immense brightness that even the scattered light in the atmosphere is is so intense that it outshines even even the brightest stars. Only very rarely, like when there is a bright supernova. Hence we can see them with naked eyes during the day.
