women played a very significant role during 18th and 19 th century.

they actively participate in movement faced the tortures of police ,stood by their male.counterparts spread the idea of liberal nationalism and also were member of various revolutionary organization.

a good example is the French revolution in which men and women participate equally .even the concept of liberty is personified as a woman.
