Hey! My question is: During reaction between HCL and NaCl, if we block the test tube from the top, stoping the hydrogen from escaping, will the reaction still continue?? I have asked on Google but there's no answer

Incredible29: the test tube will burst leading to fatal conditions
Incredible29: never try that
Incredible29: bcuz gases occupy space too !!
BadaSaGadha: Yeah

the reaction would be completed ,as the evolving of hydrogen is just an indicator of the reaction. While if the test tube is blocked we wont be able to check the Hydrogen by taking a burning matchstick at its mouth.

Samsbrain: not NaCL
dhruvjha2001: but even then h2 is not produced h20 is produced bro
BadaSaGadha: So basically, both of our answers are correct
dhruvjha2001: exactly lok
dhruvjha2001: lol
BadaSaGadha: Dont mark brainliest just say thanks
Samsbrain: ya.... actually.... it's supposed to be Na not NaOH
dhruvjha2001: ya ,
dhruvjha2001: thank both of us lol
BadaSaGadha: xD

There will be no change in solution, as they both don't react.

Hope it helps .

dhruvjha2001: yes
dhruvjha2001: acid and salts dont react
BadaSaGadha: Yeah
Incredible29: yesss
Samsbrain: yess I'm soooo sorry I actually meant NaOH
Samsbrain: guys I'm really sorry for this
dhruvjha2001: you just led us to a debate xD
Samsbrain: ya I know I'm sorry.... sometimes my brain stops working :((
BadaSaGadha: lol its okay :)
Samsbrain: yeah...coz according to the question it's the most appropriate answer....lol
