The two types of motion are :- 1. UNIFORM MOTION AND
2. NON - UNIFORM MOTION.

Uniform Motion :--- When a body covers equal distance in equal intervals of time it is called as Uniform Motion.

For example; A car is moving with a constant speed to attain a distance of 10 m in 5 seconds at every intervals. Thus, it depicts a straight line graphs.

✳✳⚫⚫⚫⚫⚫❇❇

Non - Uniform Motion :-- When a body covers unequal distance in equal intervals of time, it is called as non - uniform motion.

For example ; A car moves 30 m in the first time interval of 10 seconds, 15 m in next 10 seconds and 20 m in the next 10 seconds. Thus, it depicts a curved line in a graph.

parts of an object move the same distance in a given time is called translational motion. Examples are vehicles moving on a road, a child going down a bird flying in the sky. Translational motion can be of two types,

**rectilinear

and

**curvilinear.
