(i) Element A is in Group 1 of the Periodic Table - this group is also known as the alkali metals.

(ii) Element C is in Period 3, while element B is in Period 2 of the Periodic Table. Across a period, the atomic number of elements increase, and therefore element C possesses more electrons and protons. Thus, element C is larger than element B.

(iii) Element B belongs to Group 3 of the Periodic Table. Elements in Group 3 have a total number of three electrons in their outermost shell. This proves that element B has a valency of 3 - as element B can share/give away its 3 electrons to achieve an octet.
