the answer will be A I.e. because if the tube is immersed the water level will rise upwards but the points p & q will move downwards during immersing the tube.

bcz ice is a solid and solid have most force of attraction between its molecule and when it convert into liquid then it will occupy more space compare to solid for same mass of substance, as a result there will become more space in between molecule and hence tube will shrink in water ,and both point are at same vertical height thatswhy both point will move downward
