Hey there !!!!!
___________________________________________________
If α and β are roots of quadratic polynomial P(x)
Then P(x) can be represented as x²-(α+β)x+αβ=0
Now,
x²-(k+6)x+2(2k-1)=0
Comparing x²-(k+6)x+2(2k-1)=0 with x²-(α+β)x+αβ=0
α+β=k+6 αβ=2(2k-1)
α+β=αβ/2
k+6 =2*(2k-1)/2
k+6 =2k-1
6+1 =2k-k
k=7
