anaik: its wrong
ranatanzeel78692: if you know so why you asking us ?
anaik: i don't know the method..and anyway what's your problem

Initial velocity (u) = 0 m/s

Height = 20 m

Acceleration = 10 m/s^2

v = speed at 20 m

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

v^2 = 0 ^2 + 2 \times 20 \times 10

v = \sqrt{400}

v = 20 m/s

Now, acceleration = - 4 m/s^2

Final velocity (v) = 1 m/s

Height (H) = ?

v^2 = u^2 + 2as

1^2 = 400 - 2 \times 4 \times H

H = \frac{1 -400}{-8}

H = 49.875 = 50 m

Hence, the parachutist bails out at 50 + 20 = 70 m

Hence, option (4)
