HEY PLEASE HELP Ive been working on for over 5 hours :( ok my question is the sum of the 2 numbers is 35 their difference is 15

Let the 2 numbers be x and x-15 (because their difference is 15)

So x+x-15 is 35 (because their sum is 35)

2x-15 is 35

2x is 35+15 = 50

x = 50/2 = 25
