<b><u>Conclusion</u></b> - This experiment shows us that a magnet and coil wire can cause armature to spin. Moreover, it illustrates how to reverse the direction of the spinning motor. It demonstrates the concept how an electric motor operates

<b><u>Observation</u></b> - When the bare parts of the armature touch the supports, current flows and it acts as an electromagnet. The armature will then react to the magnetic field from the permanent magnet and move. As it moves, the insulated part of the armature will come into contact with the supports and the current will stop, making the armature’s magnetic field disappear, which will again cause the armature to move.

CONCLUSION

The electric motor works and how the power of electric magnetic forces help to provide energy. It shows how a magnet & coil wire can cause armature to spin.

OBSERVATION

The wire sparked a couple of times when touching the magnet while getting centered. Once the magnet was placed, the wire was gradually increasing speed.
