The method how I found it out is simple. First find the factors of 16244. Now start dividing 16244 with its factors one by one in ascending order. Every time you divide, check whether the quotient you get is a perfect square or not, till you get a perfect square.

There is one more simpler method. Just look at the factors that you have written down and identify the factors which are perfect squares. Then take the largest perfect square out of then and divide the number (in this case 16244). The quotient you get will be the smallest natural number by which when you divide, you get a perfect square.
