To prove - ABC is an isosceles triangle i.e AB=AC

Proof- .

In ∆BAD & ∆CAD

<BAD=<CAD ( given)

AD=AD (common)

<BDA = <CDA (each 90°)

thus, ∆BAD=~ ∆CAD ( by ASA congurency condition)

therefore, AB= AC (By C.P.C.T) ( hence proved)
