(ii)Given that,
Voltage V=220V
Current I=0.5A
Now, rate at which the electrical energy transformed
P=V×I
P=220×0.5
P=110watt
Now, the energy is transformed in 2 min
P=
E=P×t
E=110×120
E=13200J
Hence, the energy transformed is 13200 J
