Q(1)(i) A current of 150 m A flows through a circuit for 2 min. Find the amount of charge that flows through the current.
(ii) An electric current runs from the 220v main. the current flowing through it is 0.5A . at what rate to the electrical energy transformed by the fan flow much energy is transformed in 2 min​

(1)(i) I= \frac{Q}{t}

Here , I = 150 mA

t = 2 min. = 120 seconds

Q = It

Charge flown through the circuit = 120×150 mC

= 18 C

(ii)Given that,

Voltage V=220V

Current I=0.5A

Now, rate at which the electrical energy transformed

P=V×I

P=220×0.5

P=110watt

Now, the energy is transformed in 2 min

P= \frac{E}{t}

E=P×t

E=110×120

E=13200J

Hence, the energy transformed is 13200 J
