Q is 0.3 the multiplicative inverse if 3/1/3

Answer:

 \frac{3}{ \frac{1}{3} }  \\  = 3 \div  \frac{1}{3}  \\  \\  = 3 \times  \frac{3}{1}  \\  \\  = 3 \times 3 = 9

Here LHS=3/1/3 and RHS = 0.3

the multiplicative inver of 3/1/3 is :-

LHS= 3÷1/3

=3× 3

=9

RHS=O.3

Hence, LHS is not equal to RHS. so, 0.3 is not the multiplicative inverse of 3/1/3

But in case of Multiplying them if the number is 3 whole 1/3....The number 0.3 will be the multiplicative inverse...

0.3×3 whole 1/3

= 3/10×10/3

= 1

Now, 0.3 is a multiplicative inverse..
